Steam-Activated Coconut Charcoal | Deep Detox Support | Internal & External Use

Crafted from pure coconut shell fibre, Eden Healthfoods’ Activated Charcoal is an ultra-fine, steam-activated powder renowned for its exceptional adsorptive properties. Unlike chemically activated alternatives, this charcoal undergoes a natural purification process that increases its surface area and enhances its ability to bind toxins, chemicals, and impurities.

Used traditionally for internal detox, digestive upsets, and external applications like poultices, activated charcoal is a natural remedy with powerful drawing capacity—supporting the body in neutralising and eliminating harmful substances.

Why You’ll Love It
  • Steam Activated & Medicinal Grade – 3–5x more porous than standard charcoal
  • High Adsorption Power – Binds toxins, pollutants, poisons, bacteria & gases
  • 100% Natural – No additives, binders, flavours or preservatives
  • Internal & External Use – Supports gut detox or use topically in poultices
  • Sustainable Source – Made from coconut shell fibre, not hardwood or chemicals
Suggested Use

Internal:
Take 1 heaped teaspoon (2g) in half a glass of water, followed by a full glass of water. Best taken at least 2 hours away from food, medications, or supplements.

External (Poultices):
Mix charcoal with pure water to form a paste and apply to the desired area. Leave on until dry and rinse off. Use 1–3 times daily or leave overnight as needed.

For enhanced drawing power: Combine 1 tsp Activated Charcoal, 1 tbsp Green Clay, and 1 tbsp Slippery Elm powder with a little water to form a thick paste. Herbs like red clover or chaparral may also be added.

Important:

  • Activated charcoal may interfere with the absorption of medications and nutrients. Do not take alongside prescription medicines, superfoods, or herbal remedies.
  • Not suitable for those with severe bowel restrictions.
  • Avoid contact with fabrics, as charcoal may stain.
