Instead of fermenting milk to make cream cheese, we ferment cashews using the same traditional fermentation process. This means our range of probiotic, wholefood Cashew ‘Cheese” dips/spreads taste like real dairy cheese without using any flavours, colours, thickeners, starch, preservatives or gums. Kehoes Beetroot Cashew Cheese is spiced with cumin seeds, giving it a delicious Moroccan flavour.
By utilizing traditional, wild lacto-fermentation, this vibrant spread achieves a luxurious, velvety consistency that functions perfectly as a direct substitute for traditional dairy spreads. The natural fermentation process creates lactic acid and an abundance of beneficial live bacteria, giving the dip a signature tangy finish and an exceptionally long, natural shelf life.

Directions for Use:
- Spread & Layer: Use as a dairy-free spread on anything in place of butter, margarine, cream cheese, or mustard. It is exceptional spread on toast, wraps, or sushi and topped with sliced avocado.
- Dip & Platter: Serve chilled as a gourmet center-piece dip alongside fresh vegetable sticks, flatbreads, crackers, or crisps.
- Gourmet Toppings: Dollop on top of hot pizzas with roasted mushrooms and rocket, or spread onto kebabs as a direct, dairy-free swap for yoghurt.
