This traditional bitter tonic is made in Australia, suitable for vegans and vegetarians, and is free from preservatives, artificial colours, caffeine, yeast, gluten, sugars, and lactose.

Digestive Support: Traditionally used in herbal medicine to act as a bitter tonic to stimulate digestive juices, support healthy digestion, and relieve symptoms of indigestion, digestive discomfort, constipation, and loss of appetite.

Laxative Action: Contains Aloe and Senna, traditionally used as a stimulant laxative to assist with the relief of constipation.

Menstrual Relief: Contains Black Cohosh, traditionally used to reduce menstruation pain and promote menstrual flow.

Multi-Purpose: It is also traditionally used externally to support wound healing and to cleanse minor cuts, scratches, and abrasions, and as a gargle for the relief of sore throats and toothache.

How to Use
Swedish Bitters is a quickly absorbed liquid extract.

Oral Use (Digestive Support):

Adults – take 20 mL in 100 mL of water, juice, or herbal tea 30 minutes before meals, three times daily. Drink plenty of water when using as a laxative.

Topical Use (Skin/Wounds):

Adults – soak a piece of gauze with the product and apply to the affected area for 2-12 hours, covering with a bandage.

Oral Application (Gargle):

Adults – add 20 mL to 100 mL of lukewarm water, swish the solution in the mouth, gargle, and swallow, twice daily.

Important Warnings:

Not recommended for use in children under 12 years. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, seek the advice of a healthcare professional. Not recommended in cases of gastric/duodenal ulcers. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present, or if you develop diarrhoea. Contains alcohol 40% v/v.
